Real Madrid still haven't given up on Fernando Llorente after Rafa Benitez reportedly requested the signing of the Juventus striker.
The Spaniard's departure from the Old Lady seems almost certain, with recent reports suggesting that a deal had already been found with Sevilla.
However, Spanish papers Marca and AS both reported on Sunday that Real Madrid are back in for the striker.
Benitez is believed to be after a poacher who can provide added value should Karim Benzema depart.
Llorente is valued at approximately €15m and is one of a number of options that Los Merengues are evaluating.
OUR VIEW
This seems rather unlikely - taking a substitute from Juventus is hardly the kind of transfer Madrid are known for. If Benzema does leave, signing Llorente is hardly going to be acceptable to Madrid supporters so we remain sceptical for now.
