There were two late victories in the Serie A games on Saturday. First up was an injury-time win for Empoli at Sassuolo, with Simone Bastoni scoring in the 94th minute to wrap up all three points. A little later in the day saw Monza visit bottom-placed club Salernitana, and with the game seemingly heading for a draw, two goals were enough to secure a victory.

Monza left it late as they earned a 2-0 victory at Salernitana in Serie A on Saturday, while Empoli won 3-2 at Sassuolo, and Genoa beat Udinese.
Salernitana started the day bottom of the table with just 13 points after a miserable season so far, but they appeared on course to move onto 14 with the score goalless with a quarter of an hour remaining.
However, Daniel Maldini scored after 78 minutes for the visitors, and then five minutes later Matteo Passina popped up to make the three points certain.
Salernitana remain rooted to the bottom of the table, while Monza are 11th.
Earlier in the day, Empoli grabbed a dramatic, injury-time victory against Sassuolo.
The hosts equalised twice in the match but never led before they lost in the 94th minute.
Sebastiano Luperto scored after 11 minutes to give the away side the lead before Andrea Pinamonti scored from the spot nine minutes into the second half to make it 1-1.
M'Baye Niang's penalty then put the visitors back in front, but Gian Marco Ferrari looked to have secured a point for Sassuolo as he grabbed the team's second 13 minutes from the end of normal time.
However, Simone Bastoni popped up deep into injury time with a glancing header at the near post to wrestle back the lead.
The result leaves Sassuolo one spot above the relegation spot but with the same 20 points as 18th-placed Verona, and Empoli move five points clear of the bottom three, in 13th.
Genoa's 2-0 win over Udinese, with goals from Mateo Retegui and Mattia Bani in the first half, kept them 12th, with Udinese 16th on 23, with the visitors seeing Thomas Thiesson Kristensen sent off early in the second half.
