Motherwell v Dundee United
Stevie Hammell returns to the Motherwell squad for the clash with Dundee United following injury. Adam Cummins is suspended for the Sccottish Premier League game while Steven Saunders (knee) remains on the sidelines. Stuart Carswell is out with a knock while young striker Lee Erwin could be out for the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery. Dundee United left-back Barry Douglas has been given time off on compassionate grounds. Recent signing Gregory Vignal is getting closer to full match fitness but is not ready for his first start. United winger Gary Mackay-Steven is still out as he recovers from a recent knee operation.
Hibernian v Dundee
Hibernian have no fresh injury worries for the visit of Dundee. Danny Galbraith (groin) is the only player unavailable to manager Pat Fenlon. Former Carlisle midfielder Tom Taiwo is still looking for his debut as he works on his fitness.
Kilmarnock v Aberdeen
Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes is still struggling to overcome a knock but could return for the Scottish Premier League clash with Kilmarnock. Rob Milsom had a slight reaction to his knee problem in an Under-20 match in midweek but manager Craig Brown hopes to have the midfielder available. Rory Fallon is out for a month following stomach surgery while Gary Naysmith (hamstring) remains out. Borja Perez is back in the Kilmarnock squad for the clash. The 30-year-old Spanish striker is in contention after recovering from an abductor muscle strain. Longer-term casualties Paul Heffernan (collarbone), Jeroen Tesselaar (hamstring), Cammy Bell (wrist) and Garry Hay (knee) are still out of action.
St Johnstone v St Mirren
St Johnstone are without strikers Steven MacLean and Rowan Vine for the Scottish Premier League clash with St Mirren. Vine is midway through a three-match ban while MacLean has his arm in plaster after dislocating his elbow. Manager Steve Lomas said he only had 13 fit senior players at training ahead of the game with Callum Davidson and Jamie Adams expected to miss out again with back problems.
Celtic v Hearts (Sunday 12.45pm)
Scott Brown is likely to miss Celtic's Scottish Premier League clash with Hearts at Parkhead on Sunday as he continues to battle against an on-going hip injury. The Hoops skipper had to take anti-inflammatories and have an injection to take part in Celtic's 3-2 Champions League win over Spartak Moscow in Russia on Tuesday night and is struggling to be ready for the visit of the Jambos. Defender Adam Matthews is 50-50 with an ankle injury but striker Lassad has recovered from his calf injury. Hearts defender Andy Webster is set to return to the starting line-up. Webster has missed three games with a back injury, spending last Saturday on the bench as Hearts lost 3-1 to Kilmarnock, but has trained all week. Goalkeeper Mark Ridgers (knee) remains on the sidelines.
