FA Cup draw: Manchester United to meet rivals Liverpool in quarter-finals, Manchester City face Newcastle

Rivals Manchester United and Liverpool will meet each other in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup. Manchester City will continue their defence of the trophy against Newcastle. 2021 winners Leicester will play Chelsea, while Coventry - the lowest ranked team remaining in the competition - will play Wolves. The ties will take place across the weekend of March 16.

Old foes will clash in the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup, with Manchester United drawn to face Liverpool.
Casemiro scored in the dying minutes for United in a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest in the fifth round.
Lewis Koumas marked his Liverpool debut with a goal, while Jayden Danns struck twice as Jurgen Klopp's youngsters starred once again in a 3-0 win against Southampton.
Holders Manchester City will go up against Newcastle in the last eight.

Eddie Howe’s side edged past Blackburn on penalties after an entertaining clash finished 1-1 after extra time.
Abdul Fatawu’s stunning strike gave Championship leaders Leicester a 1-0 win against Bournemouth in the last round and the 2021 winners will travel to Chelsea next, after Conor Gallagher scored a late winner in a 3-2 victory for Mauricio Pochettino's side against Leeds.
Coventry ended the dreams of non-league Maidstone with a 5-0 thrashing of the Kent club in the fifth round.
They are now the lowest ranked team left in the competition and will go to Wolves in the quarter-finals.
