Southampton want to give Daniel Sturridge an escape from Liverpool on loan whilst Jose Mourinho is eyeing defensive additions at Manchester United.
1-Daniel Sturridge- Liverpool to Southampton
The Saints have been watching Sturridge for some time as manager Claude Puel wants to bring in a regular strike partner for Charlie Austin in his 4-4-2 diamond. They would propose to take Sturridge on loan first with a view to a possible £25 million move in the summer. (Express)
2-David Alaba- Bayern Munich to Manchester United
Mourinho wants to strengthen his defence and feels that David Alaba would be the perfect addition as he can play in a number of different positions. Manchester City and Arsenal are also linked to him even though Bayern are reluctant to sell. Virgil van Dijk is also mentioned as another defensive target for Mourinho. (Mirror)
3-Lionel Messi - Barcelona to Manchester City
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has denied any knowledge of rumours linking star player Messi to Manchester City and former manager Pep Guardiola. (Guardian)
4-Mario Mandzukic - Juventus to West Ham
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic wants to bring Mario Mandzukic to the Premier League in January as he looks to beef up his attack. Bilic worked with Mandzukic when he was with the Croatian national team and could have to pay £18 million to sign him. He will also let the struggling Simone Zaza leave. (Sun)
5-Steve Holland - Chelsea to England
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is keen to ensure that Steve Holland doesn't leave the club on a full-time basis to work with England. Holland currently splits his time between club and country but when Gareth Southgate is appointed permanently he is likely to want Holland as part of his coaching staff. 6-Alexander Isak - AIK to Chelsea
Chelsea are favourites to sign Swedish starlet Isak according to a source inside his club AIK. Isak has been making waves with his performances so far this season and Chelsea have already proposed an offer of €11 million.
