Moises Caicedo has made it clear that he wants to leave Brighton but boss Roberto De Zerbi is hopeful the club can keep a hold of the Ecuador international. "We hope he stays with us until the end of the season. In life you can make mistakes," said De Zerbi. Caicedo is a target for Arsenal who have reportedly had a £60 million bid rejected. It will be an anxious few days for all concerned.

Brighton are hopeful of keeping a hold of Moises Caicedo despite the midfielder's plea to leave the club this month.
Caicedo took to social media to confirm that he wants to leave the club following reports of a rejected £60 million Arsenal bid for his services.
The Ecuador international made a series of posts on Instagram and Twitter, essentially pleading his case to be allowed to leave Brighton in this transfer window.
Subsequently, the 21-year-old was told to stay away from training with the Seagulls until after Tuesday's transfer deadline.
But manager Roberto De Zerbi said the club is not resigned to losing him this season.
"Moises is a good guy, we will see tomorrow and the next days what happens," he told ITV ahead of his side’s FA Cup fourth round match with Liverpool.
"We hope he stays with us until the end of the season. In life you can make mistakes. For everyone there are many solutions. We will see the best solution for him and for us."
Caicedo made headlines after he posted to social media: "I am grateful to Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best. I always play football with a smile and with heart.
"I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
"I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
"The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take this magnificent opportunity."
