Dortmund want Sancho in January

The Mirror reports that Borussia Dortmund are looking to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this winter.
The paper writes: “Borussia Dortmund are planning to offer Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho a career lifeline in the January transfer window amid his ongoing spat with Erik ten Hag.
“Sancho, 23, enjoyed a prolific four-year stint with the Bundesliga giants before moving to Old Trafford in a £73million deal in the summer of 2021, however, he has been unable to emulate his dazzling displays for Dortmund in the Premier League.
“Mirror Football understands that Ten Hag feels the situation has been blown out of proportion thanks to Sancho's reaction, in which he effectively accused the United boss of lying. Ten Hag, although angry with him, believes that it can be resolved.
“Saudi Pro League side Al Ettifaq, who are managed by Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, wanted to sign Sancho before their domestic transfer window closed on Thursday, but the Red Devils ruled out a loan. His absence from the matchday squad against Arsenal raised eyebrows, despite the former Borussia Dortmund star failing to impress so far this season.”

Sancho set for talks with Ten Hag

The Telegraph believes that Sancho will have talks with manager Erik ten Hag as they look to resolve a clear path for his future.
“Jadon Sancho is set for showdown talks with Erik ten Hag on Monday amid serious uncertainty over the England forward’s future at Manchester United,” the paper writes.
“Ten Hag had some time off last week in the wake of United’s 3-1 defeat at Arsenal last Sunday, when Sancho effectively accused his manager of lying over the reasons for his absence from the squad.
“But Ten Hag is now due to speak face-to-face with Sancho for the first time since the public outburst that infuriated the United manager and cast fresh doubt over the player’s long-term future at the club.”

City target Chelsea defender Maatsen

Manchester City hope to land Ian Maatsen from Chelsea after the defender failed to agree terms for a new deal with his current club.
“MANCHESTER CITY are reportedly in the running to sign Chelsea defender Ian Maatsen,” The Sun writes.
“The left-back is stalling over extending terms at Stamford Bridge, with his deal set to expire at the end of the season.
“Maatsen, 21, starred on loan for Burnley last season in the Championship as he played a key role in the Clarets' promotion to the Premier League.
“Chelsea are keen to tie him down to a new deal. However, the club accepted Burnley's bid late in the transfer window, only for the move to collapse.
“The Blues had accepted a loan with an obligation to buy Maatsen worth £31.5million, but he rejected the move.”

Verratti set to complete Al-Arabi deal

After months of speculation about a move to Saudi Arabia, Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti is on his way to Al-Arabi.
“Marco Verratti is set to sign for Saudi Pro League side Al-Arabi after a verbal agreement has been reached with the player,” the Mail states.
“The midfielder, who won Euro 2020 with Italy, has traded Paris for the Middle East as he closes on the move to Saudi Arabia.
“It was previously reported that he had decided to make a U-turn on a move to the Saudi Pro League, but this appears to be untrue now.
“It is understood that he will travel to Doha in the next 24 hours to complete his medical and seal the move.”
