Chelsea do not want to lose Mason Mount for nothing and hope to meet Manchester United to thrash out a deal, while they are also in negotiations to sell players such as Kalidou Koulibaly and Hakim Ziyech, amongst others. United are also keen on New England Revolution goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic, and Arsenal will make a second bid for Jurrien Timber.

Chelsea ready to thrash out Mount deal

After rejecting another bid from Manchester United for Mason Mount, Chelsea have offered to meet in person for further negotiations.
Chelsea do not want to lose him for nothing next year, but the Mirror believes United are unwilling to wait too long to get their business done.
“Chelsea have rejected Manchester United's third bid for Mason Mount - but are willing to meet in person to discuss the transfer,” the paper states.
“United's latest offer for the England international, 24, was £55million, but Chelsea are holding out for £65m (£58m up front, £7m in add-ons). There is now a chance Erik ten Hag will walk away from the transfer, as United's third bid was supposed to be their last.
“Mount has just a year remaining on his existing deal and Chelsea are willing to sell him - but only for the right price. The Blues hope their proposed meeting with United's recruitment team will help all parties reach a solution on the matter before pre-season.”

Chelsea on verge of huge clearout

Chelsea have reportedly already rejected a third bid from Manchester United but a deal could still be agreed, and the Telegraph states that there’s a long list of players close to the exit.
The paper lists the players on their way out, saying: “United’s first bid for Mount – which was immediately rejected out of hand – was £40 million and it now remains to be seen whether or not the Old Trafford club return with a third offer.
“Chelsea have agreed to sell Kovacic to City for £25 million, plus £5 million in easily achievable add-ons, while an agreement has been struck for Havertz to join Arsenal for a deal worth about £65 million, the structure of which will mean Mikel Arteta’s side pay more than £60 million with the rest made up in add-ons.
“With Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia for £8 million and £17 million respectively, Chelsea are hoping to bank more than £100 million in incoming fees by the end of the month, even if Mount’s future is not quickly resolved.”

United target Petrovic

With David de Gea’s future unclear, Jack Butland at Rangers, Dean Henderson set for Nottingham Forest and Tom Heaton looking to leave, The Sun gives an update on Manchester United’s goalkeeping targets.
“MANCHESTER UNITED are keeping tabs on young MLS goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic,” their report begins.
“United are on the lookout for a new keeper with David de Gea's future looking uncertain as his contract runs out on June 30.
“The Red Devils are interested in New England Revolution ace Petrovic.
“However, the Manchester giants have yet to make contact with the 23-year-old's camp.
“And the Serbia international is not being considered as Erik ten Hag's next No1.”

Arsenal plan Timber second bid

The Daily Mail claims that Arsenal will return with an improved bid for Jurrien TImber, the Ajax defender.
The youngster is keen on a move to the Premier League.
The paper states: “Arsenal are preparing to increase their offer for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
“The Dutch side rejected a £30million bid earlier this week and want £50million to sell their youngster.
“Timber, who is also being targeted by Manchester United, is tipped to leave Ajax this summer.
“Mikel Arteta is a fan of the player and appears keen to bolster his defence this summer with a move for the 22-year-old.
“And now the Gunners are preparing to increase their offer for Timber as they look to bring him in during the transfer window.”
