Harry Kane's almost two-decade long association with Tottenham Hotspur could be about to end. Spurs and Bayern Munich are confident that a deal will soon be done that will satisfy both parties, with the north London club wanting £100 million for their all-time top scorer. Kane has one year left to run on his contract at Tottenham but appears ready for a new challenge in Bavaria.

Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur are confident that a record-breaking deal for Harry Kane will be agreed soon.
The England captain has been linked with the German champions throughout the summer.
According to Sky Sports, Bayern are ready to up their offer from the previous €95 million (£81.7m) – already a club record sum for the Bundesliga side - and “all sides are now confident” that the move will go ahead.
Kane will be offered a five-year deal in Munich that would keep him at the club until he is almost 35.
The move would herald the end of a career-long stint at Tottenham for the striker.
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Spurs, with 280 goals, and England, with 58 goals.
But Tottenham are willing to sell him with one year remaining on his contract to avoid the risk of losing him for nothing next summer.
The Premier League side want £100m for their star man and will reportedly demand a buy-back clause if he returns to the English top-flight.
Kane first joined Tottenham’s youth system in 2004 as an 11-year-old and has been with the club ever since.
He had spells on loan with Leyton Orient, Millwall, Norwich City and Leicester City early in his senior career before enjoying a breakthrough season with Spurs in 2014/15, when he won PFA Young Player of the Year.
Kane has since won the Premier League Golden Boot three times but is set to leave Spurs without winning a trophy.
The closest he came was by reaching the final of the League Cup twice and the Champions League once.
At international level, Kane won the World Cup Golden Boot in 2018 as England reached the semi-finals, while he captained the Three Lions to the Euro 2020 final.
The 30-year-old enjoyed another prolific year in 2022/23, scoring 30 Premier League goals, but it was a disappointing campaign for Spurs as they finished eighth.
