Jamal Musiala has been linked to a number of clubs this season and now Real Madrid are reportedly ready to make a move for the Bayern Munich forward if a deal to land Kylian Mbappe collapses. Meanwhile, Los Blancos are said to have kept a space in their squad for Mbappe, and Manchester United are "battling to keep highly rated youngster Omari Forson".

Musiala could be Real Madrid's 'Plan B'

Real Madrid will make a move for Jamal Musiala if they fail to land Kylian Mbappe.
That is according to a report in the Sun which claims “Real are making sure they have a second attacking target should they end up missing out”.
The article continues: “It’s reckoned that Bayern Munich ace Jamal Musiala is highly thought of by Carlo Ancelotti.
“The ex-Chelsea academy ace, 20, is tied to his German club until 2026.
“But he has so far refused to sign a new contract.
"Musiala is currently on £7 million a year, but wants three times that amount to remain at the Allianz Arena.
“Manchester City have also been linked with the playmaker, who will consider his future at the end of the season.
“However, Bayern are likely to seek a huge fee for a player who will be just 21 years old next summer.”

Real keeping space for Mbappe

Real Madrid will not make any moves this January "as they keep a space in their squad for their planned signing of Kylian Mbappe next summer," claims a report in the Mirror.
The article states: "The Spanish giants had intended to sign Mbappe last summer after Karim Benzema confirmed his exit to Saudi Arabia while Eden Hazard, Marco Asensio and Mariano Diaz - the latter of whom was the only remaining recognised central striker in Madrid’s senior squad - all departed as free agents. Spain international Joselu was subsequently signed, but he is the only senior central striker."
"Marca now report that Madrid will not make any signings in the January transfer window," it adds.
"That is despite their lack of depth in attack and is another massive hint that they are leaving their squad light to help accommodate any move to sign Mbappe in the summer window."

United face battle to keep highly rated teenager

Manchester United are reportedly "battling to keep highly rated youngster Omari Forson".
The 19-year-old was an unnamed substitute in United's defeat to Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League earlier this season and is very highly thought of at Old Trafford.
However, a report in the Mirror states: "Forson’s current deal expires at the end of the season and they would stand to lose huge sums if he was allowed to leave as a free agent in the summer.
"There has been overseas interest which could potentially reduce any compensation or fee still further. But there would be no shortage of Premier League clubs also watching developments."

North London rivals ready to raid Real Sociedad

Arsenal and Tottenham are prepared to raid Real Sociedad with Martin Zubimendi linked with the former and Brais Mendez with the latter.
The Express states: "Mendez has a release clause in his Sociedad contract of around £52m. Spanish outlet Sport claims Tottenham could make an offer for the 26-year-old in the winter.
"Zubimendi, meanwhile, also has a clause at a similar price in his contract. Arsenal were keen on signing him last January and Caught Offside says he remains of interest to them.
"Sociedad will have no power to stop both players from leaving if their release clauses are triggered. The La Liga side could therefore be in line to receive up to £104m for the pair."
