Jurgen Klopp's rebuild at Anfield continues with the signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich for a reported fee of £34 million. The Reds have secured the transfer of the Dutchman amid interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United. Gravenberch is the latest arrival at the club following the signings of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo earlier in the window.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Netherlands international Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich in a deal reportedly worth £34 million.
The young midfielder arrives in Merseyside after putting pen to paper on a five-year contract.
"I’m very happy. Very happy that the deal is done and I’m finally here,” Gravenberch told Liverpool's official website.com.
"If you see it from the outside, it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. Also the fans, the stadium, I think everything from the outside is top. So that’s why [it was the right club].”
Liverpool faced competition after interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United, but it was Jurgen Klopp who ultimately got his man.
Gravenberch arrives in Liverpool to be part of a new-look midfield, in the company of fellow summer signings Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo.
Klopp’s midfield overhaul has seen the departures of senior players Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner and Jordan Henderson, making space for fresher legs and deeper creative ability in the middle of the pitch.
Gravenberch was never a regular starter after joining Bayern from Ajax last summer, playing fewer than 600 minutes of Bundesliga football in his debut season with the German giants.
Manager Thomas Tuchel had seemingly always been open to the sale of the 21-year-old Dutchman, highlighting his impending lack of importance in plans for the 2023/24 campaign.
Gravenberch began his career in the Ajax youth system, before working his way up to the senior team making 103 professional appearances and scoring 12 goals along the way.
With a big move imminent, Bayern spent 18.5m euros to recruit the youngster before the 2022/23 season.
However, 33 appearances and a singular goal against third division Viktoria Koln marked an underwhelming campaign without a sustained run in the starting line-up.
An out-of-favour young player with undoubted talent and huge potential was bound to attract interest from some of Europe’s juggernauts, in this case Liverpool and Manchester United, with Erik ten Hag greatly familiar with the player due to his time managing Ajax.
With the move to Merseyside, Gravenberch joins a highly decorated list of midfielders to play for both Bayern and Liverpool including Thiago Alcantara, Xabi Alonso and Emre Can.
