Man Utd in for El Ghazi?

Manchester United are looking into the possibility of signing former Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi as potential cover for Antony and Jadon Sancho, the Daily Mail reports. The Dutchman would be available on a free transfer after leaving PSV in the summer, although it is also believed that the winger has offers on the table from Saudi Pro League clubs.
The Mail writes: “Manager Erik ten Hag has a major problem on the right wing after Antony was placed on leave until further notice following allegations that he attacked three women, and Sancho’s future at Old Trafford was plunged into doubt after he had a public falling-out with his manager.
“The fact that United are considering a shock move for El Ghazi underlines just how seriously they are taking the situation with Antony and Sancho who cost a combined total of £158million.”

Arsenal plot January Diomande transfer

Arsenal have revived their interest in Sporting defender Ousmane Diomande and will look to sign the teenager in January, the Mirror reports. The Ivorian has a £69m release clause in his contract, but after a £30m summer bid was rejected the Gunners will hope to beat a number of teams also interested in Diomande’s signature.
The Mirror writes: Arsenal are rumoured to have submitted a £30m bid for his signature in the summer but it was swiftly rejected That rejection hasn't deterred Arteta from coming back in for Diomande, who is highly thought of by a number of European football's biggest clubs.
All three of Juventus, Monaco and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the young centre-back. Surprisingly, Diomande only 13 made Primeira Liga appearances last season but has evidently made quite the impression in that time.

Man Utd in talks over new sponsor

Manchester United are in advanced talks with US technology company Qualcomm over being their new front-of-shirt sponsors in a deal worth £60m per year, the Athletic reports. The deal is unlikely to come into force this season, while United already have an existing relationship with the company that manufactures telecommunications hardware.
The Athletic writes: “As part of the 2022 deal, Qualcomm also agreed to advise United on planned improvements to mobile connectivity at Old Trafford, in order to enhance fans’ experience on match days.
“United have been searching for a new front-of-shirt sponsor since TeamViewer, a Germany-based software firm, announced last year that it did not intend to renew its deal with United — a five-year agreement which began in 2021 worth £47m per annum. Then in December, United and TeamViewer reached an agreement that provided the club with the option to buy back the rights to their front-of-shirt sponsorship.”

Solskjaer rejects Norway Women

Former Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has turned down the opportunity to become the Norway Women manager, as reported by the Evening Standard. The Norwegian has not been in a managerial role since leaving United in 2021, but with Norway Women looking for a new manager since the World Cup, the former striker does not want the job.
The Standard adds: “Solskjaer has confirmed the Norwegian FA approached him for talks but he was not interested.”
