Manchester City are still being linked with a move for West Ham forward Lucas Paqueta as the Brazilian continues to impress, while Brighton & Hove Albion forward Evan Ferguson looks set to stay on the south coast. Elsewhere, West Brom are hoping to keep hold of Tom Fellows, while Sir Jim Ratcliffe's arrival could see Antony leave Manchester United as soon as January.

City to renew bid for Lucas Paqueta

After failing to land Brazilian forward Lucas Paqueta from West Ham in the summer, Manchester City could come back in for the player as he continues to impress.
“West Ham’s 26-year-old Brazilian playmaker looked set to move to the Etihad in August before his dream transfer came crumbling down,” The Sun claims.
“He has continued to be selected by David Moyes since and he has continued his stunning form this term for the East End outfit.
“Paqueta has scored four goals and produced one assist in his 15 outings and that has been enough to catch the eye of Pep Guardiola again.”

Ratcliffe’s arrival could herald Antony exit

The Mirror believes that Antony could leave Manchester United in January when Sir Jim Ratcliffe arrives at Old Trafford.
“Sir Jim Ratcliffe could wield the axe on Antony in the New Year in the wake of the Manchester United forward's poor form,” .
“Ratcliffe will be in control of sporting operations at Old Trafford should his £1.3billion proposal for a 25 per cent minority stake in the club be ratified in the coming days. And the Ineos chief is already sketching out plans to overhaul United both on and off the pitch.
“After dazzling in the Eredivisie under Ten Hag at Ajax, Antony became United's marquee signing last summer in a deal worth £82m. The Brazilian winger has failed to replicate the form that captured United's attention in Amsterdam, though.”

Ferguson set for Brighton stay

Evan Ferguson has signed a new long-term contract with Brighton, ending speculation in the short term of a move to Manchester United and other Premier League sides.
“Highly rated striker Evan Ferguson has signed a new contract with Brighton and Hove Albion which ties him to the club until 2029,” writes the Independent.
“The 19-year-old Republic of Ireland international has extended his existing deal with the Seagulls, amid reports that other Premier League clubs were tracking his progress.
“Ferguson joined Brighton from Irish side Bohemians in January 2021 and made his first-team debut later that year in a Carabao Cup tie against Cardiff.”

Albion struggle to keep youngster

West Bromwich Albion could face a battle to keep their young attacker Tom Fellows away from two fellow Championship sides.
The Mail explains: “West Bromwich Albion are trying to keep hold of forward Tom Fellows amid mounting interest from Championship rivals Leicester City and Southampton.
“The highly rated 20-year old is out of contract at the end of the season and Albion are keen to get him to sign new terms.
“Fellows has been at the club from Under 10 level and has impressed in their youth sides and Premier League 2 as he progressed through the ranks.
“Albion are in the process of being taken over and the prospective new owners have already indicated they want Fellows to stay but Leicester and Southampton sense an opportunity to snap up a young, versatile player of potential and are monitoring developments ahead of January.”
