United tell Kane to put in transfer request

Manchester United want Harry Kane to put in a transfer request to help force through a move to Old Trafford.
United value the player at £80 million, but Daniel Levy will not accept less than £100m.
“Frustrated Manchester United have told Harry Kane: If you want the move, make it happen,” The Sun writes.
“And the Red Devils have also had a second bid worth up to £50million rejected by Chelsea for Mason Mount.
“United’s hierarchy are ready to walk away from the blockbuster transfer of Kane after difficulties in negotiating with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
“But in a final attempt to move things on, they want Tottenham’s all-time top goalscorer to come out with a transfer request or strongly worded statement about his desire to leave for Old Trafford.”

United keen on Onana

With David de Gea increasingly likely to leave Manchester United this summer, the Mirror believes that Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana is their target to replace him.
The paper states: “Manchester United have made contact with Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana to register their interest in signing him.
“The Red Devils are preparing to wave goodbye to current shot-stopper David de Gea at the end of June, with his 12-year stay on course to come to end after failing to agree a new contract. De Gea could yet sign a new deal but manager Erik ten Hag is being proactive and identifying targets to become his new first-choice goalkeeper.
“Onana, 27, has been shortlisted after working with Ten Hag for the entirety of his four-and-a-half-year reign at Ajax. Comfortable with the ball at his feet and familiar with the Dutchman's system, United appear ready to green-light a move.
“Old Trafford chiefs have sounded out the Cameroonian but face Inter's £50million asking price. Onana has only been with Inter for one season - and a memorable campaign at that - but the prospect of a reunion with Ten Hag could be enough to prise him away from San Siro.”

Partey departure could allow Lavia arrival

Arsenal are ready to let Thomas Partey leave amid interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, and that might help them recruit Romeo Lavia from Southampton, although there is interest from other top Premier League sides.
The report claims: “Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey is attracting offers from Saudi Arabia clubs, which could pave the way for a move for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia.
“Lavia, who is set to leave Southampton following their relegation from the Premier League last season, is attracting interest from some of the Premier League's top clubs ahead of potential bids.
“While Arsenal are leading the race, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested while Manchester City have a buy-back option after they sold the Belgian to the Saints last summer.
“Declan Rice remains the Gunners' top priority, but they have seen all their bids rejected by the Hammers so far this summer.
“They have also been monitoring Brighton's Moises Caicedo, but Brighton's £100million asking price is putting them off a bid despite stern interest in January.”

Newcastle line up Tonali

With Nico Barella rated at €80m, Newcastle are looking at Sandro Tonali of AC Milan, who could be around £20m cheaper.
Eddie Howe is looking to strengthen his side’s midfield ahead of next season.
“Newcastle United are in talks with AC Milan over Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali over a deal that could be worth £60 million to fill Eddie Howe’s priority position in the transfer market this summer,” the Telegraph explains.
“Howe has wanted a No 6 midfielder for next season’s Champions League campaign and there was a move for Nicolo Barella last week, although Inter Milan have been insisting on €80 million.
“Newcastle have stayed in Serie A and turned to Tonali, who is likely to be significantly cheaper.
“It is understood the player’s agents were in London on Wednesday trying to progress the deal.”
