Newcastle United are looking for a summer overhaul with Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze on their shortlist. Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino could favour the England job over either Manchester United or Bayern Munich, and Chelsea have drawn up an extensive shortlist for their next manager, including Sporting Lisbon’s Ruben Amorim and Brentford’s Thomas Frank.

Newcastle start summer preparations

Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze are on Newcastle's shortlist this summer, according to The Telegraph.
The north east side are also linked with Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale and Wolves' Pedro Neto, as Eddie Howe looks to overhaul his squad.
The paper reports: “There has been a sense all season that this Newcastle United side is coming to the end of its shelf life, with Eddie Howe needing to move players on and find upgrades this summer to continue their progression into a consistent top-six team.
“Like most Premier League clubs, Newcastle have their profit and sustainability concerns and will have to sell to fund any ambitious moves in the transfer market.
“The likes of Wolves winger Pedro Neto, 24, and Crystal Palace duo Michael Olise, 22 and Eberechi Eze, 25, have all been discussed in recruitment meetings and fit the age profile of players Newcastle would like to sign.
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, and Valencia’s highly-rated stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been scouted extensively, but at the moment there is also a focus on moving players out.”

Pochettino a target for United and Bayern

Former Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino will be a target for Manchester United and Bayern Munich, The Sun reports.
However, the paper claims that he might prefer to take over from Gareth Southgate as England manager.
The paper writes: “Mauricio Pochettino would be open to an approach from England if Gareth Southgate quits after the Euros.
“Poch is on the market following his shock departure from Chelsea after less than a year at the Stamford Bridge helm.
“The Argentine former Spurs and PSG chief will be targeted by Manchester United and Bayern Munich - with the German giants able to offer him the chance to link up once more with Harry Kane and Eric Dier.
“But while Pochettino will weigh up his options over his next move - and is determined to prove the problem was Chelsea rather than him - he has not dismissed the possibility of becoming the next Three Lions chief if the role becomes available.”

McKenna set to be offered three PL jobs

The Mirror believes that Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna could soon be offered three different Premier League jobs.
Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester United could all make a move for the former United coach.
The paper writes: “Ipswich boss Kieran McKenna faces the biggest decision of his career.
“‌Whether to stick or twist. The 38-year-old is now at the centre of a tug-of-war between Brighton, Chelsea and even Manchester United are watching developments.
“But Ipswich are also desperate to keep the brilliant young coach who has led them through back-to-back promotions from League One, through the Championship and into the Premier League.
“McKenna knows he may never get this opportunity again.”

Chelsea draw up shortlist for new manager

The Evening Standard reports that Chelsea have put together their shortlist as they seek a quick replacement for Mauricio Pochettino, who left his role on Tuesday.
As well as Kieran McKenna, managers including Thomas Frank, Ruben Amorim, Sebastian Hoeness and Enzo Maresca are under consideration.
The paper states: “Chelsea are confident of conducting a quick recruitment process to replace Mauricio Pochettino.
“Sporting Lisbon's Ruben Amorim, Ipswich's Kieran McKenna and Stuttgart's Sebastian Hoeness are among the early names in the frame to take over at Stamford Bridge.
“Girona's Michel and Leicester's Enzo Maresca are also in the running, while Chelsea's owners have long-term admiration for Brentford's Thomas Frank and respect for Burnley's Vincent Kompany.”
