Paris Saint-Germain are set to rival Bayern Munich for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, while West Ham are planning on a bid for Manchester United defender Harry Maguire after selling Declan Rice. Elsewhere, Manchester City and Bayern are yet to agree a fee for Kyle Walker, while Bournemouth are just one of the clubs interested in Bristol City's teenager Alex Scott.

Kane to choose between PSG and Bayern

The Mirror reports that Paris Saint-Germain are rivalling Bayern Munich for the signing of Harry Kane this summer.
The paper writes: “Harry Kane prefers to join Manchester United this summer but it is Paris Saint-Germain who are threatening to hijack Bayern Munich’s bid for the Tottenham striker.
“Kane’s representatives held a meeting with PSG transfer chiefs last month and there appears to be a concentrated effort from the French club to land the striker. It comes after Lionel Messi exited the French capital with doubts over the futures of both Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
“It had appeared that Bayern were leading the race to land the striker. The German champions are refusing to give up on their pursuit of Kane despite having had a £60million-plus offer turned down, while another £70m proposal was not enough to tempt Spurs.
“However, the latest report indicates that PSG are stepping up their interest in the 29-year-old and believe they can offer a financial package that would be tempting to both Spurs and Kane to facilitate such a move.”

West Ham prepare Maguire bid

West Ham plan to use funds from Declan Rice’s transfer to Arsenal to buy Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, who is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
“West Ham are now ready to test Maguire’s resolve to stay and fight for his place at Manchester United,” the Telegraph reports.
“United captain Maguire fell down the pecking order at Old Trafford last season under Erik ten Hag but is understood to be happy at the club and believes he can break back into the team.
“However, he is also high on David Moyes’s wanted list at centre-back although the east London club would prefer a loan move to a permanent deal at this stage.”

Bayern and City at odds over Walker

Kyle Walker is wanted by Bayern Munich, but they are yet to meet Manchester City’s valuation for the England full-back.
“Kyle Walker has allegedly agreed personal terms with Bayern Munich as the German side get set to make a low-ball offer to Manchester City for the star," The Sun writes.
“The England full-back, 33, helped the Cityzens to claim the Treble last season but speculation has mounted over his future since.
“Walker has been linked with a switch to the Bundesliga giants. And now he has reportedly finalised a contract to leave the Etihad and sign for German champions.
“However, City and Bayern chiefs are set to have more talks over a potential fee. Bayern are said to have offered Walker a two-year contract with an option for a third.
“And they believe a fee of around £13million is believed to be enough to seal the deal with City as the ex-Tottenham ace enters the final 12 months of his current £160,000-a-week package.
“But City are said to want more for the experienced defender.”

Bournemouth face competition for Scott

Bournemouth are going to make another bid for Alex Scott of Bristol City, though the Mail suggests there are plenty of other clubs keen on the teenager.
The paper reports: “Bournemouth are making an improved offer for Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott, who is also admired by West Ham.
“Bournemouth had a £15m plus add-ons offer rejected earlier in the week.
The Robins value their man at £25m, especially after the 19-year-old made 42 appearances for the side last term, and was named Young Player of the Season across the whole of the Championship.
“There is a Premier League bidding war for the 'Guernsey Grealish' - so called for his Channel Island heritage, and the similarities to Manchester City's Jack Grealish - with the Hammers and Wolves both interested in Scott's services.
“Inter Milan were also previously thought to be mulling over the prospect of an £18m bid for the midfielder, who turns 20 in August. “
