Rodri will be offered a new mega deal to keep him at Manchester City for the rest of his career, claims a new report. Elsewhere in Monday's Paper Round, Inter have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United striker Anthony Martial "for nothing", and Tottenham "have offered Tanguy Ndombele to Galatasaray for just £4.3 million" in a desperate bid to get the midfielder off their books.

Rodri to consider 'megabucks pay hike'

Manchester City will offer a deal to Rodri in a bid to keep the midfielder at the Etihad for the remainder of his career.
That’s according to a report in The Sun, which claims the 27-year-old will be offered a “megabucks pay hike”.
“Manchester City are planning to hand Rodri a megabucks pay hike that will effectively keep him at the Etihad for life,” the article reads.
“The Spanish midfielder, who still has three years left on the deal he signed in 2022, is seen by many as the key figure in Pep Guardiola’s all-star cast.
“Now City top brass want to recognise that with an extension which will see him join the champions’ high earners.
“Rodri, 27, is currently on around £180,000 a week but the new offer will see that rocket into the £300,000 bracket.
“Yet City are in no rush to get the deal done and talks will not be on the agenda until the quest for a second successive Treble is over.
“But they intend to sit down with Rodri when he returns from the summer break and hope to add a couple more years to his current terms, taking him up to the age of 32.”

Inter offered chance to sign Martial 'for nothing'

Inter Milan have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United striker Anthony Martial "for nothing", according to a report.
The 28-year-old has not played since the start of December and with his contract due to expire in the summer, there has been much speculation about his future.
An article in the Mail reads: "Manchester United flop Anthony Martial has reportedly been offered to Inter Milan as the French striker prepares to leave Old Trafford this summer.
"According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A leaders Inter have been offered the chance to sign Martial for nothing.
"The report says Inter will evaluate the merits of signing him but isn't their No. 1 striker target.
"The major drawback is Martial's chequered injury record, with constant setbacks preventing him achieving his full potential at United.
"It's not the first time Martial has been linked with Inter but the Italian club's top target is Albert Gudmundsson of Genoa and Iceland."

Ndombele to be offered to Galatasaray for £4.3m

In a bid to get the midfielder off their books, Tottenham "have offered Tanguy Ndombele to Galatasaray for just £4.3 million."
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at the Turkish giants but has only started three matches this calendar year.
An article in The Sun continues: "Last year reports in Turkey claimed Ndombele clashed with Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk, who wanted the Frenchman to lose weight.
"And the ex-Lyon star has struggled to impress following a series of fitness struggles, crushing Tottenham's hopes of recouping the money they spent on him in 2019.
"Ndombele was loaned to Galatasaray for the season with the Turkish side having the option to buy the midfielder permanently for £11m.
"But Buruk's side rejected to pay that amount for the 27-year-old who has only played 650 minutes of football this season.
"According to Turkish newspaper Takvim, Spurs 'have offered Tanguy Ndombele to Galatasaray for €5M after they decided against activating their €15M option to sign the midfielder permanently'.
"And it does not look promising as the claim also stated Galatasaray are likely to turn this one down as well."
