Sancho left the Manchester City academy over the summer to join Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, where he was given the No.7 shirt previously worn by Ousmane Dembele.
He was left out of the last squad to complete that move but returns in what is a very strong looking group of 21.
Foden has remained at City and he drew praise from manager Pep Guardiola following a pre-season victory over Manchester United with the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss saying "It’s a long time since I saw something like this. His performance was another level."
Angel Gomes has made waves with his performances for the Manchester United academy and he's expected to make his first team debut sooner rather than later.
Elsewhere Chelsea are the best represented club as five of their players have been selected for the tournament. George McEachran, brother of Josh, is joined by Marc Guéhi, Jonathan Panzo, Conor Gallagher and Callum Hudson Odoi.
England will travel to India later for this week to start their training camp in Mumbai which is where their warm-up game against New Zealand is on October 1.
Following that they will travel to Kolkata as they prepare for the group stage where they will face Chile, Mexico and Iraq.
England will be looking to go one better after reaching the final of the U17 European Championships in the summer where they lost to Spain on penalties.
