Walsall midfielder Liam Kinsella has signed a one-year contract extension.
The 20-year-old will stay at the Banks's Stadium until 2018 having come through the ranks at the club.
Kinsella, son of former Republic of Ireland international Mark Kinsella, has made eight appearances for the Sky Bet League One promotion chasers this season.
"I'm absolutely buzzing," he told the club's official site. "It's good to have a bit of stability for the next two years.
"My aim is to play more games and to establish myself as a first-team player. It's been hard to get in the side this season with the team doing so well.
"I've played a few games and I look back on my goal against Burton as one of the highlights of my career so far.
"I don't mind where I play and I'm just working really hard in training. When I'm given an opportunity I always try to do my best and hopefully I can play more first-team games over the next two years."
The Saddlers are third in League One and go to Bradford on Saturday.
