FC Barcelona came back from 2-0 down to beat Wolfsburg 3-2 and lift their second UEFA Women's Champions League trophy.
Wolfsburg took the lead after just 2 minutes and 57 seconds thanks to a stunning strike from Ewa Pajor. The Polish international won the ball on the edge of the box before unleashing a terrific effort which Sandra Panos couldn't keep out.
Barcelona missed a glorious chance to make it 1-1 after 13 minutes when Irene Paredes popped up at the back post to fire a free header wide of the target.
The Spanish side continued to push forward and had Wolfsburg's defence on the back foot for large periods in the first half.
But Wolfsburg made it 2-0 eight minutes before half time. Goalscorer Pajor turned provider for the second when she whipped in a sensational ball into the box and Alexandra Popp was on hand to fire her header past Panos to put Wolfsburg in dreamland.
Barcelona came out of the blocks quickly in the second half and pulled a goal back after just three minutes. Caroline Graham Hansen got past her marker brilliantly before laying the ball off to Patricia Guijarro who rifled her effort beyond Merle Frohms.
The Catalan side scored their equaliser just two minutes later, Aitana Bonmati chopped inside before finding Guijarro who was there to score her second the afternoon.
Barcelona completed their comeback in the 70th minute after capitalising on some poor defending from their German opponents. Wolfsburg struggled to get the ball clear resulting in a moment of pinball in the box and Fridolina Rolfo was there to fire her effort into the top corner.

TALKING POINT - BARCELONA LIFT THEIR SECOND UWCL TITLE

Today's match was FC Barcelona's fourth UEFA Women's Champions League final appearance in five seasons and they have clinched their second title. After a heartbreaking final last season that saw them go 3-0 down inside 33 minutes against Lyon, Barca were eager to make amends and lift the title once again but after going 2-0 down inside 37 minutes, it looked as though it would be another final disappointment for the Catalan club - that was until they came out for the second half. Jonatan Giraldez's side showed heart, determination, and courage to fight back from two goals down to eventually win 3-2.
Today's final victory also means that they have won three trophies in each of the last three seasons. Three Liga F titles, two UEFA Women's Champions League's, two Copa de la Reina's and two Supercopa de Espana's! We are witnessing greatness with this Barca side.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH - PATRICIA GUIJARRO (FC BARCELONA)

Patricia Guijarro is the hero of the 2022/23 UEFA Women's Champions League final and a worthy winner of the Player of the Match award. Her two goals in three minutes at the start of the second half completely rocked Wolfsburg and allowed Barcelona to get on terms. She took both her goals well, helped progress Barcelona up the pitch with her crisp and accurate passing and was an influential figure all afternoon.
