After helping her team into the UEFA Women's Champions League semi-finals, Chelsea defender Ashley Lawrence has said the players discuss winning a historic women's quadruple, but keep their focus on the "day by day." Chelsea are currently top of the WSL table, in the UEFA Champions League and FA Cup semi-finals, and will play the Women’s League Cup final against Arsenal on Sunday.

Ashley Lawrence admitted Chelsea players "talk about" achieving a historic quadruple, but insisted it's not their "main focus".
After reaching the UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-finals this week, Chelsea are still on track to become the first English women's team to earn four major trophies in a season.
The Blues currently lead Manchester City at the top of the Women’s Super League table on goal difference, while they are up against Manchester United in the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals and play Arsenal in the Women’s League Cup final on Sunday.
"It's always there, we talk about it," Lawrence told BBC Sport. "But our focus is on day by day. We work towards the next game, but we are excited to be in this position.
"We are aware of the four trophies, Emma [Hayes] and the players who have been here a while know what it takes to win. It's always there, but not the main focus."
Lawrence tipped manager Emma Hayes’s "unwavering confidence" to be of use heading into a series of crucial matches in the coming weeks.

Particularly significant will be Chelsea’s two Women’s Champions League semi-final legs against Barcelona, which will be broadcast live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Chelsea are yet to win the Women’s Champions League, and it is high on Hayes’s to-do list before she departs the club at the end of the season to manage the United States national women's team. But her side are yet to beat Barcelona in Europe.
"She [Hayes] was a big part of my decision [to sign for Chelsea]," said Lawrence, who joined the London outfit from Paris Saint-Germain in 2023. "Everyone in the football world is aware of Emma, and the impact she has had in England and globally.
"It was an exciting opportunity to come to this club, for the players, the environment and for her.
"She exudes a lot of confidence, even before signing here I saw she has the ability to transform a team into a winning mentality. Now I am here I see she has that ultimate belief, that unwavering confidence. We need that going into finals."
Arsenal are the only English team to win the Women’s Champions League, doing so when they clinched the treble in 2007. They also won the Community Shield that year.
It was also Arsenal that prevented Chelsea from earning a treble last season, winning the Women’s League Cup final 3-1.
This year’s final will take place on Sunday at Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton, just two weeks after Chelsea comfortably beat Arsenal 3-1 at Stamford Bridge.
"Anything can happen, especially in the final," Lawrence admitted. "We looked at that last game with confidence, but they are a top team and will come out for the next game different.
"It's going to be a level playing field, so we go in with the same conviction, as that was really good from the first whistle. We will not change much but we will be ready."
