Women's FA Cup holders Chelsea were given a scare before they recovered from a goal down to prevail past West Ham United in extra time with a 3-1 victory at Kingsmeadow.
The Blues made their experience count in extra time as goals from Erin Cuthbert and Sjoeke Nusken booked a place in round five.
Viviane Asseyi fired the Hammers in front with a clinical strike past Zecira Musovic into the bottom corner, and despite chances for Guro Reiten, Eve Perisset and Kadeisha Buchanan, the Blues trailed at the break.
Substitute Mia Fishel finally got Hayes' side level on terms with a fierce strike in the 70th minute to take the contest into extra time.
With 101 minutes on the clock, Cuthbert headed in Johanna Rytting Kaneryd's cross and suddenly, a place in round five looked tantalisingly close for the first time.
Victory was secured when Aggie Beever-Jones lifted the ball into the path of Nusken, who had the simplest of tasks to tap the ball over the line.

Man United ease past Newcastle

Manchester United eased into the Women's FA Cup fifth round with an emphatic 5-0 win over Newcastle at Leigh Sports Village.
A brace from Nikita Parris and a goal each for Ella Toone, Rachel Williams and Melvine Malard sealed a very straightforward passage into round five.
It was a professional display from Marc Skinner's side against third-tier opposition, as the Red Devils look to avenge their 1-0 defeat to Chelsea in last season's final.
Toone got United off the mark in the 28th minute when she met Luis Garcia's cross from the left-hand side, and rifled in a trademark shot into the net.
The midfielder then turned provider for Parris to net her first and United's second, with the latter rising highest to meet a cross.
Parris thought she had added a third before half-time, but was denied by the assistant referee's flag.
But it did not take long after the restart for United to get a third goal, and Luis Garcia was able to take advantage of a mistake from goalkeeper Grace Donnelly to tee up Parris for a simple tap-in 10 minutes into the second half.
Williams then got in on the act after her brilliant first-time effort cannoned off the woodwork, and was there to slot home on the rebound.
Skinner's side completed a fine afternoon's work when Malard converted a corner at the near post with her header, which bounced down onto the turf before beating Donnelly.
Despite the result, this was a landmark day for Newcastle, who are enjoying a fine season in the Women's National League and sit top after winning promotion last season.
They are on course for a second consecutive promotion, and the Magpies will be aiming to meet the likes of United on a more regular basis in the not-too-distant future.

City hit Durham for four

Manchester City made light work of Women's Championship opponents Durham with a 4-0 win at Maiden Castle.
Laura Coombs got City off the mark in only the seventh minute when she smashed home a brilliant volley from Chloe Kelly's cross.
Jill Roord added a second for Gareth Taylor's side in the 38th minute with a ferocious strike from inside the box, before scoring a third for the visitors with a delightful chip over Naoisha McAloon with little over 20 minutes remaining.
Mary Fowler then added extra gloss to the scoreline with a close-range strike in the 87th minute for her first goal of the season.

Arsenal overcome Watford

Arsenal continued the trend of Women's Super League teams beating Championship opposition with a convincing 5-1 win over Watford at Meadow Park.
Jonas Eidevall's side were on their way to victory in only the sixth minute, as Hornets keeper Jacqueline Goldsmid could only spill Victoria Pelova's strike into the path of Alessia Russo, who slotted in the loose ball.
It was 2-0 six minutes later when Lia Walti when Pelova brilliantly dummied from a corner to allow Lea Walti to curl in a superb first-time strike.
Substitute Stina Blackstenius made a telling impact off the bench to score the Gunners' third goal following some delightful link-up play involving Beth Mead and Pelova, as the Swede latched onto the latter's pass and dispatched a finish past Goldsmid.
Arsenal loanee Michelle Agyemang scored a consolation for the hosts after reacting to some sloppy Arsenal defending to reduce the arrears.
But normal service was resumed when Amanda Ilestedt headed home from Katie McCabe's corner for the visitors' fourth, before Frida Maanum headed home from a Blackstenius delivery for number five.
