Jenni Hermoso files legal complaint against Luis Rubiales after Women's World Cup final kiss

Spain forward Jenni Hermoso has submitted a legal complaint against suspended Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales. Rubiales kissed Hermoso on the lips during the trophy presentation at the Women's World Cup final last month, an act Hermoso says was not consensual. Rubiales has been suspended for 90 days by FIFA and now could face criminal charges.

Spain player Jenni Hermoso has filed a legal complaint against Luis Rubiales for kissing her on the lips after the Women's World Cup final.
Rubiales – the currently suspended president of the Spanish Football Association (RFEF) – kissed Hermoso during the trophy presentation following Spain’s historic 1-0 win over England last month.
Spain’s prosecutor's office confirmed on Wednesday that Hermoso has filed a complaint against Rubiales as she said the kiss was not consensual. Rubiales has consistently argued that the kiss was consensual.
Rubiales' behaviour has been criticised by male and female players, Spain prime minister Pedro Sanchez and other public figures around the world.
Spain women's coach Jorge Vilda was sacked on Tuesday a week after his entire coaching staff resigned over the incident and 81 players made themselves unavailable for international duty.
