Germany are facing the prospect of a humiliating World Cup group-stage exit after a dismal first half against Sweden in Fisht.
The defending World Cup Champions were beaten in their opening match by Mexico, and results elsewhere meant they started Saturday's match knowing that defeat would see them crash out of the tournament.
And that prospect moved a step closer when Ola Toivonen dinked home an exquisite finish to give Sweden a 1-0 lead on 32 minutes.
Germany have 45 minutes to save their campaign, with Mesut Ozil, Mario Gomez and Julian Brandt among the options on the bench.
