England captain Harry Kane has been named as the winner of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot having scored six goals.
Kane, 24, was one of the favourites going into the tournament after a fantastic season with Tottenham Hotspur that saw him score 30 goals in the Premier League.
He lived up to the billing by scoring twice in the opening game against Tunisia, including a late winner, and then notching a hat-trick against Panama.
He scored a penalty in the last 16 against Colombia but failed to find the net in the win against Sweden or the subsequent defeats against Croatia and Belgium.
His six goals are the joint-most of any Englishman at a World Cup, along with Gary Lineker in 1986.
His closest contenders were Romelu Lukaku, Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann who all scored four goals, with the latter two scoring once each in the final.
