Patrick Muller says Switzerland must match South Korea's superhuman work-rate on Friday if they are to qualify for the knockout phase. Speaking to eurosport.com, Muller insisted despite only needing a point against the 2002 semi-finalists to progress, not
"They are a very good team, especially in the second half," warned the Lyon defender having seen Dick Advocaat's side make second-half rallies to beat Togo and snatch a point off the French.
"We will have to be at 100% to qualify, but that's our objective."
After an opening-game stalemate with France, Monday's 2-0 win over troubled Togo saw the Swiss leapfrog the Koreans into pole position in Group G on goal difference, making a draw in Hannover enough to send Kobi Kuhn's men through.
But having been impressed by the Korean's never-say-die display despite going behind to an illustrious France side, Switzerland midfielder Raphael Wicky was equally cautious.
"Even though they were 1-0 down, they never stopped running," the Hamburg grafter told eurosport.com. "In the second half they showed they were very strong."
"It's difficult to say what's going to happen," added Muller. "We want to qualify, but we know that it's going to be difficult. We're going to have to play very well."
