Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has urged his fans to respect his privacy after his home address became public, resulting in fans gathering outside his Monaco apartment. Leclerc, who had a valuable watch stolen last year after being approached for a selfie, asked his supporters to refrain from visiting his home but assured them he would make time for them elsewhere.

Ferrari's Formula One driver Charles Leclerc has made a plea to his fans to respect his privacy after they started gathering outside his apartment in Monaco.
The 25-year-old driver, who had a watch stolen in Italy last year after being approached for a selfie, took to Instagram to express his concerns.
Leclerc revealed that his home address had become public knowledge, leading to people gathering outside his apartment, ringing his bell, and asking for pictures and autographs. While the driver expressed his appreciation for his fans' support, he requested them to respect his privacy and refrain from visiting his house.
"For the past few months, my home address has somehow become public, leading to people gathering beneath my apartment, ringing my bell, and asking for pictures and autographs.
"While I'm always happy to be there for you and I truly appreciate your support, please respect my privacy and refrain from coming to my house."
The driver also stressed that he would make himself available for his fans when they see him on the streets or at the track, but he would not be coming downstairs if they visit his home.
"I'll make sure to stop for everyone when you see me on the streets or at the track, but I won't be coming downstairs if you visit my home.
"Your support, both in person and on social media, means the world to me, but there is a boundary that should not be crossed."
Leclerc's watch was stolen in the seaside resort of Viareggio last April. Italian police announced last week that they had arrested four people wanted in connection with the theft.
Leclerc and Ferrari have had a challenging start to the Formula One season, with the driver retiring from two of the first three races.
Last year, Leclerc won two of the first three races before his title hopes faded.
