German sensation Nico Hulkenberg will make his Formula One test debut with Williams at Jerez this week.
Hulkenberg, 20, who is the latest protégé of Michael Schumacher's former manager Willi Weber, has been pencilled in to drive for the team for two days at the Spanish circuit.
Coming to prominence as the 2005 German Formula BMW champion, Hulkenberg stunned the A1 GP Series as he led Team Germany to a dominant campaign last winter.
This year saw him enhance his reputation as one of the hottest young prospects in motorsport with four wins and third place overall in the Formula Three Euroseries plus victory in the prestigious Formula Three Masters at Zolder in Belgium.
Should the test go well, he would do his hopes of succeeding Kazuki Nakajima - who has been promoted to a race seat for 2008 - as the team's test driver.
