The Mercedes cars of Hamilton and Nico Rosberg both showed pressure in one tyre below the minimum permitted level when tested on the grid before the race.
However an FIA statement said the tyres were cooler than on other cars because the warming blankets had been disconnected.
It also said stewards were satisfied Mercedes had followed the correct procedure with tyre manufacturer Pirelli.
The result of the race stands - Hamilton won by 25 seconds ahead of Sebastian Vettel. The Briton's championship lead is now 53 points after his team-mate Rosberg suffered an engine failure on the penultimate lap.

Hamilton led from start to finish but was instructed to speed up late on without explanation. The problem saw Hamilton implored to push as hard as possible in the closing stages despite holding a comfortable lead - a situation the driver said was "not cool" over the team radio.
It was then confirmed that Mercedes were under investigation over tyre pressure.
Paddy Lowe, Mercedes technical director, protested the team's innocence, saying: We don't understand it. We've been summoned to the stewards. We'll gather and explain it...All I know is we set our pressures fully supervised by the Pirelli engineer. He was perfectly happy with them as they were set. With an abundance of caution, because we haven't done anything wrong, we thought let's make a gap."
Hamilton added: 0.3 (PSI) doesn’t have any effect, it doesn’t do anything. I’m sure people can prove it. Pirelli can prove it. It wasn’t the reason we won today. We won because we were the quickest.

Sebastian Vettel finished second to give the home Ferrari fans something to cheer after Kimi Raikkonen, who started in second, stalled on the grid and spent the rest of the race trying to claw points back.
34-year-old Felipe Massa of Williams made it to the podium in third, declaring to his team, "I'm too old for this!" after racing team-mate Valtteri Bottas right to the wire.
McLaren-Honda's terrible season continued, with Fernando Alonso's car giving up three laps before the end, although Jenson Button did make it to the finish.
The Lotuses of Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado both retired from the race inside the first three laps, with Maldonado's car reportedly broken in two on its base after running across the kerb.
