Max Verstappen is already the world champion, and at the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday he set a new record for most wins in a season - 16. With three races still to come before the season is out, the Dutchman said in Mexico that he was aiming for at least one more Grand Prix victory as he hopes to continue his success with the Red Bull team in Formula 1.

Max Verstappen is aiming to extend his new Formula 1 record for the most wins in a season before the year is out.
In 2022 the Red Bull driver secured 15 victories in a season, and after winning the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon, he reached 16 for 2023.
There are three races to go in 2023, and given the Dutchman’s imperious form and continued determination to win what is in front of him despite already securing both the drivers' and constructors' championships once more, he is hoping to keep winning.
Speaking after his victory he said: "To be honest we are experiencing an incredible season. Again the pace of the car was very good. We tried to do a different strategy from anyone else but unfortunately with the red flag we couldn’t show it. But nevertheless the hard tyres at the end were very strong."
Discussing his new target, he looked for at least one more win, saying: "17, 18, I don’t know."
Team-mate Sergio Perez retired on Lap 1, but Verstappen appreciated the support from his home crowd.
He added: "It’s been incredible. Unfortunately Checo retired on Lap 1 but the crowd stayed and they have been amazing."
Lewis Hamilton, who finished second as his season starts to look up after struggles with Mercedes, also praised the supporters
He said: “I got to say a big thank you to this incredible crowd. Mexico, they’ve been giving us great races every year. I genuinely love coming to this city, the food is fantastic and the people are beautiful. Thank you all.
"I feel fresh, we weren’t having to push crazy hard out there. It was a great result considering we started sixth. I'm really proud of the team. It's been a difficult couple of weeks and to bounce back from last weekend with the end result. This is really well done.”
