Ferrari have won 231 races since 1950, McLaren 182, Williams 114, Mercedes 76 and Red Bull 56. Former champions McLaren and Williams have not won since 2012.

POLE POSITION

Hamilton has a record 73 career poles. Vettel has 52.

Max Verstappen, at 20 years old, can become the youngest ever pole sitter this season. The current youngest is Vettel, who did it at the age of 21 years and 72 days.

PODIUM

Hamilton has 119 career podiums and is second on the all-time list behind Schumacher (155). Vettel has 101, Kimi Raikkonen 93.

POINTS

Hamilton holds the all-time Formula One record of 28 successive scoring finishes and can make it 29 this weekend.

Three drivers on the grid have yet to score points in their F1 careers: Rookies Charles Leclerc (Sauber) and Sergey Sirotkin(Williams) and Toro Rosso's Brendon Hartley.

AZERBAIJAN

The race first appeared on the calendar in 2016, as the European Grand Prix. The name changed last year, when the race was held in June.

Ricciardo is the only current driver to have won there, with now retired 2016 champion Nico Rosberg taking the inaugural victory for Mercedes.

Azerbaijan and France's Le Castellet, returning for the first time in 28 years, are the only tracks on the current calendar where Hamilton has yet to win.

The Baku track is the second longest on the calendar after Spa-Francorchamps, and one of the fastest. The 2.1km straight is the longest of the season.

MILESTONE

Champions Mercedes have gone three races without a win for the first time since the V6 turbo hybrid era started in 2014.

Red Bull can take their 150th podium finish on Sunday.
