Takuma Sato has been disqualified from 14th place in the Chinese Grand Prix for his part in a last-lap collision that saw six cars involved, and Nick Heidfeld spun out of fifth place.
Race stewards investigating the incident found the Japanese Super Aguri driver guilty of blocking faster drivers on the final lap.
Sato did not get out of the way as Honda duo Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello both attempted to pass Heidfeld's BMW Sauber, which ended up with Button getting through safely but Barrichello hitting the back of the German driver.
As Sato was racing under a previous reprimand, he was stripped of his 14th place.
Spyker-Midland driver Christijan Albers was also involved and also found guilty of the same offence, but because his record is cleaner then Sato's he was given a 25-second time penalty.
Ironically, this gained him a place after Sato's exclusion.
