Team GB's Makayla Gerken Schofield was knocked out of the second final after failing to make the top six. However, eighth place represented a fantastic return for Britain's first ever moguls finalist.

"It has been a while since I enjoyed skiing to be honest but tonight felt incredible. Skiing those bumps... just the feeling, I have no words. I think it is a mix of everything, this course is stunning.
"I tried to take it like a World Cup but in the back of my mind I was thinking 'oh my god, it is the Olympics'."
And there was agony for Canadian 2014 silver medallist Justine Deufour-Lapointe who crashed out in Finals 2.
