Freestyle Skiing World Cup 2023: Mikael Kingsbury beats Rasmus Stegfeldt to do moguls double at Idre Fjall

All-conquering Mikael Kingsbury took dual moguls gold to claim a World Cup clean sweep in Idre Fjall. Up against the home favourite Rasmus Stegfeldt, Kingsbury made it two consecutive gold medals in Sweden, taking his overall tally to three this season. In the women's event, the American won her first World Cup title in four years, beating Rino Yanagimoto and Jakara Anthony.

All-conquering Mikael Kingsbury took dual moguls gold to claim a World Cup clean sweep in Idre Fjall.
The Canadian beat home favourite Rasmus Stegfeldt in the final to make it back-to-back gold medals in Sweden.
Kingsbury won Friday's moguls event with a score of 85.02 points and now has three medals from three this term.
The bronze medal went to Ikuma Horishima of Japan.
On the women's side, Jaelin Kauf of the USA continued her consistent start to the season to claim a first World Cup title in nearly four years.
Kauf finished fifth in the first two events of the season but was the cream of the crop this time and beat Rino Yanagimoto to claim victory.
It is the 27-year-old's first World Cup triumph since her dual moguls success in Kazakhstan just before the Covid-19 pandemic.
Australia's Jakara Anthony captured bronze.
