New head coach Dragan Djukic praised the performance of Great Britain's men's handball team after they narrowly lost to Greece in two friendly matches.
After beating a regional Serbian side in a training match, Britain lost 26-33 to Greece on Friday night before going down 35-20 less than 48 hours later.
"Against Greece this week we looked totally different to how we were at our training camp at Essen (Germany) just two weeks ago," Djukic said.
"We are growing and improving well and we will do that step by step each day. For the second game Greece improved a lot and were very motivated.
"We played well but they were strong. We aren't really ready, mentally or physically, to play two games in 48 hours against a team like Greece. But sometimes it's better to learn on the court because you experience it and remember."
