Jagr ponders retirement

Czech Republic and New York Rangers winger Jaromir Jagr announced on Monday that he is thinking of retiring from international hockey after the Winter Olympics in Turin. "The time has come to leave. It's here in Turin that I came to this decision," Jagr t
"I am not at all the only one that will leave after this match [for the third place]" added Jagr referring to team-mates such Martin Rucinsky, Robert Lang, Jaroslav Spacek ou Martin Straka, all of whom participated in Czech Republic's gold-medal victory at the Nagano Games in 1998.
"It's extremely tiresome to know that a lot of people count on you and you know that doesn't work, you can't do anything about it," added the 34-year old Jagr.
"I don't feel very good. But I came here [Turin] and I did the best I could," he said.
The Czech Republic went home with the bronze medal after beating Russia 3-0 in the B final.
