Thanks for joining us here on Eurosport for another entertaining installment of the MotoGP season
Dovizioso takes second ahead of Simoncelli who will be delighted with third place. Lorenzo, Spies and Rossi behind them.
Casey Stoner wraps up his 29th MotoGP win in a race he has dominated from an early stage.
The seem to have subsided as the race nears its conclusion. If anything it is Lorenzo catching Simoncelli, but I can't see the Spaniard getting back into a podium position
Nervy moment for Stoner as he runs a little wide on turn one and wobbles pretty severely, he may have just lost concentration due to the lack of challenge, he will have regained it now though
Dovizioso seems to have held off the challenge of Simoncelli now. The latter is yet to get a podium this season, he may well be settling for third place.
The top six are worlds apart from those behind them. Rossi is nearly ten seconds ahead of Hayden who is in seventh
Simoncelli just 0.2 seconds behind Dovizioso, this looks the closest battle left out there on the track, although Spies is getting closer to Lorenzo every lap
Bautista and Rossi are having an interesting little tussle for sixth, but the Spaniard loses it in spectacular fashion as he loses his front end and slides off. He is out of the race
Ben Spies has just crept up on Lorenzo a bit and for the first time looks like he might crack the top four
Near enough seven seconds the gap between first and second now, Lorenzo has dropped out of the battle for second, but Simoncelli and Dovizioso continue to slow each other down a little
Karel Abraham had gamely raced on after running off earlier but it looks like his engine has given up the ghost now as smoke pours out of the back, his race is over now
Simoncelli is having a real go at Dovizioso now, Lorenzo has been left behind a bit, maybe a matter of time till he takes second
Ben Spies has had a very consistant race, he is not really challenging the three in front but the pair of Rossi and Bautista behind him can't catch him, looks like fifth place nailed on for the American
Simoncelli rubs salt into the wound and pushes the world champ down into fourth, excellent move from the Italian
Lorenzo's dogged defence comes to an end as Dovizioso made passing him on thurn three look incredibly easy
The battle behind the race leader is making it a very comfortable race for him. Lorenzo in second is riding very defensively and slowing the pace of those behind him.
It is up to over four and a half seconds now, as long as he avoids a big mistake now he will take this one
Stoner has now opened up a lead of over three seconds now, the action is all between second and fourth, the Australian is comfortable at the front
Lorenzo finds some added power from nowhere and slides past Dovizioso on the inside, gutsy move after his near crash earlier, he goes second
Simoncelli pushing very hard behind Lorenzo, the Spaniard is fighting a losing battle as he tries to hold him off
Cal Crutchlow is out of the race!! He has not had a good weekend at all after a crash in qualifying as well. He is up and walking, it did look quite nasty though.
Valentino Rossi is up to sixth having started way down in 11th
Stoner has opened up a pretty decent lead at the front, Dovizioso more interested in keeping Lorenzo at bay
Karel Abraham is off and his rather sour homecoming continues
Simoncelli is not far behind the front three and seems to be gaining on Lorenzo
Stoner leading from Lorenzo and is holding him off well, in fact Dovizioso has pulled off a great manoevere to get past the world champ and move into second
Dani Pedrosa not so lucky as he crashes out at turn four. The man who started on pole is out of the race. Devastating luck for the Spaniard
Woof that was close. Lorenzo came within a whisker of crashing out but just held it as lost his front end for a second. He loses the lead though
Stoner is in third behind Lorenzo and Pedrosa now, ahead of his team mate Dovizioso
Rossi and Hayden in their Ducatis are having a real battle in midfield, Rossi just comes out on top.
Dovizioso has had a very impressive start to the race as well, he has moved up from sixth to third
Spoke to soon there, Lorenzo only needs to wait till turn three to take the lead as he nips past Pedrosa
They are off and it is a great start from Pedrosa on pole, he hangs on to the lead
They are off for their warm-up lap, warming up the tyres and getting one more look at the track before the race begins
Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of the Czech Republic MotoGP
