MotoGP rider falls off bike but clings on for dear life to cross finish line

Moto3 star Niklas Ajo pulled off one of the most extraordinary saves you'll ever see.
The young Finn lost control of his bike as he rounded the final corner during this weekend's race in Assen.
Now, normally when MotoGP riders lose it they follow their training: they fall off as best they can and try to slide safely away.
Not Niklas. The 20-year-old clung on to his handlebars for dear life despite almost being bucked off - and somehow kept the bike going more or less in the right direction, back onto the track and over the line.
He had been leading the race at the time, but lost 16 load of positions in the incident. Still, at least he kept himself and he lives to fight another day - no doubt with the esteem and respect he commands hugely increased. Amazing stuff.
