The Norwegian delighted a home crowd in Lillehammer to stretch his lead at the World Cup summit. Fresh from winning Saturday's event, Riiber's 141m jump in the morning proved the best in the field and ensured he would start the 10km cross-country with a 55-second lead. It was an advantage he never looked like giving up and the Norwegian crossed in 25:55.3, 33.8 seconds clear of nearest challenger.

Jarl Magnus Riiber extended his World Cup winning run by completing a victorious weekend on home snow in Lillehammer.
Fresh from winning Saturday's event, Riiber's 141m jump in the morning proved the best in the field and ensured he would start the 10km cross-country with a 55-second lead.
It was an advantage he never looked like giving up and the Norwegian crossed in 25:55.3, 33.8 seconds clear of nearest challenger Johannes Lamparter, to claim his fifth straight World Cup win having finished second in the opener.
Austria's Lamparter has now finished second behind Riiber in four of the six events this season while third on this occasion went down to the wire as Joergen Graabak edged out fellow Norwegian Jens Luraas Oftebro after a photo finish.
The men's Nordic combined competition takes a break next weekend before returning in Ramsau on December 15-16, the final World Cup event of 2023.
