Ida Marie Hagen ended Gyda Westvold Hansen's lengthy winning streak with her maiden FIS Nordic Combined World Cup gold in Ramsau.
Hansen last finished off the top spot in March 2022, a run spanning 11 races, but had to settle for second behind her fellow Norwegian here.
Hagen sat third after the ski jump, with Hansen leading following a 94.5m leap which earned 133.3 points, but the traditionally strong skier quickly reeled in those above her.
The compatriots went into the final lap together but Hagen pulled away to win by 3.4 seconds and end Hansen's hegemony, with Austria's Lisa Hirner taking bronze.
In the men's race, Johannes Lamparter held firm in a thrilling finish to make it back-to-back FIS Nordic Combined World Cup wins on home snow.
The Austrian timed his attack to perfection on the closing stages of the 7.5km compact race to lead home Jarl Magnus Riiber in silver and Stefan Rettenegger in bronze, both of whom were within two seconds of the winner.
Rettenegger's brother, Thomas, had started the race with a six-second lead after topping the ski jumping standings on 147.4 points following a 100.5m leap, though the biggest distance of the day went to Stefan on 102m.
Riiber made the early cross-country running and led after 2.5km while Stefan Rettenegger hit the front by the 5km mark before Lamparter's late surge.
