Stacey wins trucks

The Dutch driver, who has led for more than a week, kept his pace consistent over the rally's final few stages to win comfortably.

Stacey's win was the first for a MAN truck and broke the five-year winning tun of the Russian Kamaz team. It was also the first for a Dutchman in the category since Jan de Rooy triumphed 20 years ago.

Russian Ilgizar Mardeev finished second for Kamaz with Czech Ales Loprais third in a Tatra.

The final stage was won by another Arjan Brouwer in a GINAF, who gave the Dutch yet more to cheer about.

The win helped Brouwer to finish eighth overall, behind Wulfred van Ginkel, Andre de Azevedo, Philippe Jacquot and Sergey Reshetnikov.
