Warrington coach Tony Smith called for the issue of video referees to be raised once again after watching his side battle to a 20-20 Super League draw with Hull.

Last season's minor premiers had to settle for one point against a new-look Hull FC after Ben Westwood missed a last-minute conversion which would have won the game. Annoyed at one of Hull's four tries in the 20-20 draw being allowed despite the touch judge ruling it out, Smith was scathing in his criticism.
"There were some really disappointing things about the game. We shouldn't have been behind," said Smith.
"I don't like touch judges calling no try and then they get awarded as tries. We've just come back from Australia and they have video referees at every game, we have them at two games a weekend.
"We either have to do something about it or just embrace it. The biggest difference between here and Australia is the inconsistency of our rulings."
While Smith was annoyed at some of the decisions made by referee Steve Ganson, he was also disappointed with his own side's performance after relying on a late Rhys Evans try to get them back in the game.
Danny Tickle's double and a Tom Briscoe try had looked like giving new Hull coach Peter Gentle a debut win as the hosts came from behind to snatch a lead before Evans' score levelled proceedings.
Gentle there was equally disappointment with the result as he said: "It was a point lost for us.
"We are very disappointed and we shot ourselves in the foot too many times and put too much pressure on our defence. We had to work pretty hard for our tries so it was disappointing we handed them the ball too easily.
"There are areas we need to tidy up still but I was really happy with the effort of the boys and we will get better. I've got confidence that this side has potential and I think the players took a step toward that today because Warrington are a very good side."
