Leigh Centurions sign Rangi Chase to underline promotion ambition

Chase has joined the Championship club from Salford Red Devils on an initial two-year deal with the option of an extension.

The move marks a significant statement of intent by the club who narrowly missed out on promotion to the Super League last season.

In an interview on Leigh's official Twitter feed, Chase said: "It's not a gamble to step down a division. I'm looking forward to enjoying my footy again which I will do here."
