The winger switched to sevens from 15-a-side rugby two weeks ago despite making an incredible start to her England career in the autumn – where she scored 11 tries in her first two games.
And she will get the chance to make a similar impression in Australia, where England have been drawn in Pool B, and will face the USA, Japan and defending champions New Zealand.
Former Team GB captain Emily Scarratt will lead England, while the likes of Abbie Brown, Sarah McKenna and 2017 World Player of the Year nominee Lydia Thompson are also included.
England, ranked eighth, finished tenth in Sydney last season after a extra-time loss to Brazil.
"We have a physical pool in Sydney with New Zealand, USA and Japan to play on day one," said head coach James Bailey.
"Every team will bring something different and it's our job to recognise that and adapt, while still playing our own game and to our own strengths.
"This tournament format is unique with the team playing over three days. It's something we have not done before, but a great opportunity for the team to show how they can adjust and also take learnings from the new tournament format." Sportsbeat 2017
