England are in need of a new head coach after Stuart Lancaster stepped down last week following the RFU's post-tournament inquiry.
And with Cheika having turned Australia from a failing team into World Cup finalists over the course of the last 12 months, the 48-year-old was widely mentioned as a possible candidate.
But Cheika has stated that he has absolutely no interest in taking over, a decision he made clear while holding a press conference ahead of the Barbarians' matches against Argentina and Gloucester this week. The Barbarians play Gloucester on Tuesday November 17 and Argentina on Saturday November 21.
Australian coach Eddie Jones - who masterminded Japan's amazing win over South Africa at the Rugby World Cup - is the current bookies' favourite at 2/1, followed by South Africa's Jake White at 11/4.
