England captain Jamie George has issued a rallying cry ahead of his team’s Six Nations match against Ireland at Twickenham on Saturday. George insisted the players "believe that we’re going to win", despite being considered underdogs. Ireland will take the 2024 Six Nations title with a bonus-point win at Twickenham, and will be well on track for back-to-back Grand Slams.

England captain Jamie George has issued a warning to Ireland ahead of Saturday's Six Nations clash between the two teams.
A bonus-point win at Twickenham would give Ireland the 2024 Six Nations title, and put them well on track to secure a back-to-back Grand Slam.
Andy Farrell’s team are heavy favourites to beat England, whose own title hopes were derailed by a loss to Scotland last month.
But George was bullish about England’s chances of an underdog victory in front of a home crowd.
"We believe that we’re going to win," he said. "We don’t want anyone, any opposition, to come to Twickenham and have an easy ride. We have respect for them. They’ve got brilliant players across the board.
"But this is England. This is Twickenham. This is home. And we’re going to defend our home, like every Englishman would."

George added: "Historically [being underdogs] has worked well for us. Fundamentally we don’t want to go in with an underdog title when we’re playing at Twickenham.
"But at the same time we’re playing against a very, very good team, the best team in the world who we have the utmost respect for. We’ve got to do everything we can to make sure that we play the game on our terms."
Immanuel Feyi-Waboso is set to start for England after an impressive cameo against Scotland, while Alex Mitchell and George Martin return from injury.
Fly-half Marcus Smith has also joined up with the squad after missing the first three matches of the tournament with a calf issue.
"We want to win this game and we know that we can win this game," George added. "I think it’d be a huge thing for English rugby if we did because we’ve got a lot of belief from within this squad, that we’re capable of doing very, very special things.

"We’ve spoken about bringing people with us. A result like this at the weekend would be a huge way of going about that.
"It’s going to be a tough test, it’s going to take everything that we’ve got, we’re going to need absolutely everyone to be at the top of their game. When we get that, I think we can be a very good team."
