Gloucester head coach George Skivington has revealed Adam Hastings will see a specialist over a knee injury that has forced him out of the Six Nations. The fly-half picked up the problem during a European Champions Cup victory over Castres at the weekend. It's the latest problem for the 27-year-old, who missed 18 months due to a string of other fitness issues.

Gloucester head coach George Skivington has shared his dismay after Adam Hastings' nightmare injury run continued.
The fly-half picked up a knee problem during a European Challenge Cup win over Castres at the weekend.
He was forced to limp off during the first half, and will now miss Scotland's Six Nations campaign.
This is just the latest fitness issue for the 27-year-old, who missed 18 months of rugby due to a string of injuries.
Problems with his shoulder, ankle and knee resulted in four operations, a period Hastings described as "hellish."
However, he regained fitness and made his return in Gloucester's Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Coventry in October, the first of six appearances this season, across which he scored 51 points.
"We missed him while he had been out and he had just been getting some traction," Skivington told BBC Sport. "The boys were feeding off him and I think he was starting to enjoy his rugby and I thought he had been playing really, really well the last couple of weeks.
"The timing of it is really bad and we were just starting to feel in a rhythm with him there. Unfortunately that is the nature of the beast and we will get him back as quickly as we can."
Hastings' form over those six games earned him a first international call-up since 2022, with Gregor Townsend naming him as part of Scotland's Six Nations squad.
He has subsequently had to withdraw in order to see a specialist, so will not be adding to his 27 caps for the foreseeable future.
"It is gutting for us," Skivington continued. "We have not seen a lot of Adam in the last 18 months and he has just come back and played really, really well for a month or so and then a pretty innocuous bang.
"These things can go either way, they can be really lengthy or sometimes they can just do a little bit and sort it out but it is not good news that's for sure."
