Canale two-week ban

Clermont and Italy centre Gonzalo Canale has been suspended for two weeks for a dangerous tackle during Italy's match against Scotland.

The Six Nations disciplinary commission adjudged that his tackle on Nikki Walker, who was off his feet at the time, was dangerous but not "potentially the most serious."

28-year-old Canale could next be eligible to play on April 4 - by which time he will have missed Clermont's Top 14 matches against Agen and Biarritz as his side push for a place in the play-offs.
