New Zealand racked up nine tries to defeat Namibia 58-14 at London’s Olympic Stadium.
The All Blacks, who were captained by Sam Cane and rested the likes of Dan Carter and Richie McCaw, threatened a cricket score in the first half.
Victor Vito crossed over after a fine run by Julian Savea before Nehe Milner-Skudder burst over the line in the corner.
The highlight was Sonny Bill Williams’ brilliant offload to Malakai Fekitoa to touch down under the posts before Beauden Barrett and Milner Skudder added to the Kiwis’ advantage with tries in the closing stages of the half.

It was a similar pattern in the second half with Savea touching down for try number six although the Namibians got the biggest roar when Johan Deysel bounced off a defender to crash over the line.
But Steve Hansen’s side had the final say with Ben Smith, Savea and Codie Taylor going over in the closing stages to seal an emphatic victory and make it two wins from two games.

TALKING POINT
TMO has received mixed reviews in the tournament but tonight was evidence of its benefits. The referee managed to steer clear of any controversial decisions. Both Julian Savea’s tries were referred and were correctly awarded.
