Tom Curry has been given a two-game ban for a head-on-head high tackle in England's win over Argentina on Saturday. After a disciplinary hearing in Paris on Tuesday, Curry accepted the decision and the flanker will be able to play against Samoa on October 7 if he completes World Rugby's coaching programme on tackling. England take on Japan on Sunday, September 17 in their next pool match.

Highlights: Wins for England, Ireland, Australia and Italy at the Rugby World Cup

Tom Curry has been banned from England's next two Rugby World Cup matches after a disciplinary hearing following his red card in Saturday's win over Argentina.
Curry was expelled in Marseille after World Rugby's bunker review system upgraded his yellow card for the challenge on Juan Cruz Mallia to a red due to a lack of mitigation.
The two-game ban means Curry will miss World Cup Pool D matches vs Japan on September 17 and against Chile on September 23.
World Rugby said: "The player accepted the red card and was suspended for two matches (subject to completion of the Coaching Intervention Programme).
"The independent Disciplinary Committee was chaired by Adam Casselden SC (Australia), joined by former players John Langford (Australia) and Jamie Corsi (Wales).
"The player accepted that foul play occurred and that the offence warranted a red card.
"The committee noted that the offence carries a mandatory minimum mid-range sanction (six matches), and having considered the mitigating factors, including admission of foul play and correctness of the red card at the first opportunity, an exemplary disciplinary record, apology to the player and good character, reduced the sanction by the maximum mitigation of 50 per cent."
Curry will be free to play against Samoa on October 7th subject to completing the Coaching Intervention Programme.
Curry was dismissed just three minutes into the match against the Pumas in Marseille, but England managed to win 27-10 with 14 men.
George Ford struck all of England's points in a virtuoso display.
